Avacone is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and operate the cloud infrastructure and delivery systems behind our products. You will help engineering teams deploy safely, recover quickly from incidents, and spend less time on manual operational work.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering with hands-on production ownership.
• Production experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and rollback strategies.
• Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting and networking fundamentals (DNS, TLS, load balancing).
• Scripting in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Ability to explain trade-offs in English and own complex work.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across development, staging, and production using infrastructure as code.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, deployment controls, and rollback capabilities.
• Operate containerized workloads and enhance reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency of platforms.
• Build monitoring and alerting with metrics, logs, and traces; define service-level objectives with owners.
• Participate in on-call rotation and drive follow-up actions from postmortems.
• Implement security controls for identity management, secrets, vulnerability management, and software delivery.
• Automate recurring operational tasks and build self-service tooling for engineering teams.
• Lead infrastructure initiatives from design through rollout and mentor other engineers.
