Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the development of orthopaedic instruments and/or implants.
• Strong hands-on CAD, materials and manufacturing experience.
• Experience writing technical reports and documentation to support regulatory approval of medical devices (FDA, CE).
• German and/or English language skills; able to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Aufgaben

• Design and development of surgical instruments and spinal implants from concept to clinical application, in line with regulatory requirements.
• Create CAD models and prototypes; perform tolerance and risk analyses.
• Apply creative problem-solving and rapid prototyping to develop innovative products.
• Plan, execute and document design verification and validation testing.
• Prepare and maintain development documentation for the Design History File.
