Zusammenfassung

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, seeks a Senior Data Architect in Switzerland to shape an enterprise data architecture for a large modernization program. You will design data models, ETL processes, and governance across multiple source systems to enable reliable analytics and decision-making.

You will work with SSIS, SAP PowerDesigner, SQL Server, and Power BI while collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in data architecture and enterprise data solutions.
• 2+ years in or with public-sector environments.
• 5+ years of experience using data modeling and architecture tools such as SAP/Sybase PowerDesigner.
• Strong experience with warehousing, ETL, data marts, facts, dimensions, and dimensional modeling.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS and SQL.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Design and support enterprise data architecture for a large-scale data integration and modernization initiative.
• Consolidate reporting data marts into an integrated Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and supporting marts.
• Perform data profiling and analysis to understand structures, quality issues, and integration requirements.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with enterprise architecture and business needs.
• Design and support ETL processes for integrating data from multiple source systems.
• Work with SSIS to build and maintain reliable data integration workflows.
• Define and implement data quality practices, validation processes, and controls.
• Support reporting by validating datasets for downstream requirements.
• Contribute to data governance, information management, security, and cybersecurity practices.
• Conduct architecture risk assessments and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Communicate architectural decisions and risks clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
