Job summary

Pictet Alternative Advisors (PAA) in Geneva seeks an experienced Legal Advisor to join the Direct Real Estate team. You will lead review, drafting and negotiation of real estate and financing documents, support transactions from inception to close, and act as a cross-border legal partner across jurisdictions.

The role requires 5–8 years post-qualification in real estate, experience in acquisitions, disposals and financings, and willingness to travel across Europe.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years post-qualification in real estate at a major law firm
• Experience leading acquisitions, disposals and financings
• Experience in at least 3 jurisdictions
• Willingness to travel within Europe
• Fluent in English; additional European language an asset
• Interest in AI tools for workflow automation

Responsibilities

• Lead review, drafting and negotiation of real estate and financing documents, including shareholders’ agreements, financing agreements, lease agreements, SPAs, construction agreements, etc.
• Support direct real estate transactions from inception to closing, coordinating legal workstreams and liaising with internal/external stakeholders.
• Act as a key legal partner on cross-border matters across jurisdictions.
• Provide day-to-day legal support on asset management and project matters with a practical, commercial approach.
• Lead and support legal documentation for development, construction and refurbishment matters.
