Job summary

EH Group seeks a Senior Control Engineer to coordinate control strategies for containerized power systems integrating fuel cells with reformers, batteries and climate control units. This on-site role is based in Nyon, Switzerland, with relocation support and a focus on safety, robustness, and industrial-grade software.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in control, electrical, mechatronic or automation engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in control engineering, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or senior role.
• Experience with functional safety (IEC 61508, ISO 13849) and safety functions.
• Strong experience with MATLAB/Simulink and model-based design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate control engineering activities and define control architecture and roadmap for fuel cell and containerized power systems.
• Develop control strategies, models and algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink and Siemens PLCs.
• Transition prototype control algorithms from Simulink to industrial-quality code in TIA Portal Step 7.
• Implement, tune and validate controllers for thermal, air, fuel and power subsystems.
• Define and own control requirements, state machines and safety/diagnostic logic.
• Drive continuous improvement of product performance, efficiency and robustness.
• Oversee MIL testing and validation procedures; manage software lifecycle from requirements to maintenance.
