Zusammenfassung

EH Group is seeking a Senior Control Engineer to lead the control team for containerized power systems integrating fuel cell technology. You will define architecture, develop control strategies, and ensure safe operation across thermal, air, fuel and power subsystems.

You will coordinate prototypes through MIL testing, oversee software lifecycle, and promote robust industrial methods with strong collaboration across disciplines. Fluency in English and French is required.

Qualifikationen

• BSc/MSc in control, electrical, mechatronic or automation engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in control engineering, incl. 2 years in a tech lead/senior role.
• Strong experience in process control engineering with containerized power supply systems.
• Experience with TIA Portal (Step 7, WinCC, Test Suite) and industrial-grade code standards.
• Experience with functional safety (IEC 61508 / ISO 13849) and safety functions.
• Experience across the V-model development cycle incl. hazard/risk assessment and SRS.
• Experience with stationary and maritime power applications, US/EU markets & standards.
• Fluent English and French; German a plus.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate control activities and define architecture and roadmap for fuel cell systems.
• Develop control strategies and models for test-benches using MATLAB/Simulink and Siemens PLCs.
• Transition prototype algorithms from Simulink to code in TIA Portal Step 7.
• Implement, tune and validate controllers for thermal, air, fuel and power subsystems.
• Define control requirements, state machines and safety/diagnostic logic.
• Drive continuous improvement of performance, efficiency and robustness.
• Oversee MIL testing and validation procedures.
• Manage software life cycle from requirements to release and maintenance.
• Establish coding standards and ensure compliance with cert requirements.
• Coordinate and mentor the control team; interface with other engineering disciplines.
