You will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Consulting and Certifications in direct line. You will be working alongside a brilliant team of highly talented Consultants and Subject Matter Experts from diverse culture, backgrounds, and nationalities. The position will be based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Shape and grow the MAR consulting service catalogue, crafting proposals (e.g., Distribution Strategy, MAR Transition, among others) and building a pipeline.
Lead client engagements: run diagnostics, define target architectures (Offers, Orders, Payments), and design phased transition roadmaps.
Facilitate workshops on Ancillary Products, Dynamic Offers, and readiness planning.
Manage projects end-to-end—scope, timelines, stakeholder coordination, risk management—ensuring deliverables align with IATA governance and client value.
Collaborate with the Offers & Orders team to stay current on standards, co-develop proposals, and contribute to MAR thought leadership (webinars, white papers).
You hold a university degree in Aviation, Industrial or Systems Engineering, Computer Science or Software Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related fields (advanced degree preferred).
You bring at least 10 years of relevant experience in airline, travel technology, retailing, commercial, revenue optimization, digital transformation, or related domains. You have hands‑on experience working with Modern Airline Retailing (MAR) frameworks and standards, including NDC, Offers and Orders, Payments, and adjacent airline retailing capabilities.
Note: Direct airline industry experience is a strong plus, particularly in commercial, distribution, retailing, passenger services, or revenue management functions.
A good understanding of emerging technologies, data‑driven solutions, and Agentic AI is highly desirable.
You have a strong consulting and project management background, with the ability to lead complex transformation initiatives from strategy through execution. You are skilled at structured problem‑solving, stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and executive communication, while also demonstrating strong business development acumen through opportunity identification, proposal development, and client relationship management. Your technical literacy enables you to translate industry standards and digital capabilities into practical, business‑focused roadmaps and outcomes.
You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus. You are comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues across cultures and regions and are prepared to travel internationally to support client engagements and business needs.
