IATA in Switzerland is seeking an Integration Architect to shape how systems and data connect across the enterprise. You will define integration standards and guide the delivery of scalable, secure integrations.
Reporting to the Head Enterprise Architecture, you will work with cross-functional teams, review code, and drive DevOps practices to ensure reliable, high-performance interfaces.

The team promotes consistent, reusable, and scalable architectures, ensures high-quality data practices, and prioritizes initiatives to enable informed decision-making and long-term business impact.
Reporting to the Head Enterprise Architecture Corporate Support Services, the Integration Architect will be responsible for overseeing key aspects of IATA’s enterprise integration landscape. This includes collaborating in the definition of integration architecture standards and patterns and guiding the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and resilient system integrations across the organization.
As the Integration Architect, you will work across IATA’s enterprise technology landscape to ensure that systems, applications, and platforms are integrated in a coherent, secure, and scalable manner to support business processes and operational effectiveness.
The main responsibilities include:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or equivalent hands‑on technical experience;
5+ years of hands‑on experience designing, building, and operating system integrations in complex enterprise environments;
Strong practical experience implementing API-led, event-driven, and message-based integrations;
Proven experience developing and troubleshooting integrations, including interface contracts, data transformations, error handling, and performance optimization;
Experience deploying and running integrations in cloud and hybrid environments;
Ability to work closely with development teams, reviewing code, unblocking delivery, and providing day‑to‑day architectural guidance.
