Job summary

Exyte Basel seeks a senior Building Services Construction Manager to lead complex pharma/biotech projects from design to commissioning. You will own the execution, guiding subcontractors, planners, and internal groups on site in Switzerland.

The role requires a strong technical background in Building Services, proactive leadership, and excellent communication in German and English, with willingness to travel across Switzerland.

Qualifications

• Completed technical degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar.
• At least 15 years of professional experience in Building Services Construction Management.
• Strong technical expertise in Building Services disciplines (industrial/building tech).
• Experience in regulated industries (Pharma/Biotech) is advantageous.
• Excellent German and English language skills; willingness to travel within Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for Building Services execution in complex projects.
• Leadership of subcontractors, specialist planners, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliant implementation according to applicable standards and GMP requirements.
• Schedule, cost, risk, and quality management.
• Leading variation order and claim negotiations.
• Regular reporting to the project management and construction management teams.
