Job summary

Forest Future Alliance is seeking a Senior Associate, Communications to coordinate and deliver internal and external communications, strengthening visibility and communicating priorities, initiatives, and impact across the alliance. You will manage workstreams, coordinate contributions and ensure timely, high-quality delivery with leadership and communications colleagues.

Qualifications

• University degree in communications, marketing, journalism, international relations or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least five years of relevant professional experience in communications, media engagement, content development or campaigns.
• Experience producing articles, media releases, talking points and digital content.
• Experience collaborating with media contacts, public relations agencies or external consultants.
• Fluent written and spoken English; familiarity with environmental sustainability topics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of the communications strategy and narrative with leadership and colleagues.
• Plan and deliver communications across multiple channels and audiences.
• Support media engagement activities and coordinate with external consultants and marketing teams.
• Align messaging with internal centres and amplify through existing channels.
• Provide guidance on messaging and content development for partners and teams.
• Maintain relationships with external agencies and media contacts for coordinated activity.
• Coordinate digital communications across social media, newsletters, and hubs.
• Track outputs, media coverage and engagement for impact measurement and reporting.
