Job summary

Qualifications

• Eight years of professional experience in communication, public relations, or journalism.
• Experience coordinating communication projects and managing contributors.
• Experience with international organizations, the UN system, or the postal sector is an asset.
• Brand management and overseeing multimedia production is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the annual communication work plan and integrated editorial calendar, facilitating team planning and tracking deliverables.
• Contribute to the UPU communication strategy, develop integrated communication plans, and create key messages and messaging guidelines.
• Draft and edit content for various platforms; manage media relations by drafting press releases and coordinating outreach.
• Define and track performance indicators for communication activities.
• Maintain consistent application of the UPU brand and visual identity; manage design, print, and multimedia production.
• Oversee communication aspects of major UPU events; support corporate website revamp and content governance; explore AI-assisted workflows for content production.
