Job summary

Angst+Pfister AG in Dübendorf, Switzerland, seeks a Senior CAE Engineer to deliver advanced CAE services and support across product groups, applying FEA/FSI with Abaqus, Fe-Safe, Isight, Tosca and Star-CCM+ to optimize elastomer-metal solutions.

You will collaborate with international teams, present engineering results, train colleagues and coach new hires, while calibrating material models through physical tests and contributing to manufacturability improvements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with focus on FEA or CFD.
• 3+ years hands-on CAE simulation experience in a cross-cultural/international environment.
• Experience in calibration/verification/validation of material models (elastomers, plastics, metals, adhesives).
• DFM/virtual simulation to optimize manufacturability and reduce design-to-production costs.
• Background in CFD, mold design, molding processes, and elastomers characterization tests is a plus.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced CAE engineering services and technical support to customers and internal stakeholders across product groups and business units.
• Perform non-linear static/dynamic FEA and FSI simulations using Abaqus, Fe-safe, Isight, Tosca and Star-CCM+.
• Analyze, design and simulate molding processes for antivibration and sealing products.
• Calibrate, verify and validate material models through physical testing.
• Collaborate with international teams, deliver engineering presentations and trainings, and coach new employees or students.
• Support marketing activities with engineering documentation for catalogues, brochures and product-application magazine articles.
