Job summary

Neural Concept in Lausanne is seeking a Senior CAE and AI Expert to own end‑to‑end simulation workflows for automotive crash and electronics durability, and to accelerate the full pipeline with automated tooling.

You will write Python automation, collaborate with Product/Engineering, and ensure production‑grade templates while working in a hybrid setup with 3 days in the Lausanne office. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands‑on FEA simulation experience in automotive or electronics contexts.
• Deep expertise with mechanical pre‑solve/post tools: ABAQUS, LS‑Dyna, Radioss, Hypermesh, Simlab, ANSA.
• Strong knowledge of implicit/explicit solvers, contact, material models, failure criteria.
• Experience with automotive safety simulations (crash, occupant, pedestrian) or durability tests (drop, vibr.).
• End‑to‑end simulation workflows: CAD prep → Meshing → Solving → Post‑processing → Visualization.
• Proficient in Python (preferred); C++, Java, or C# also valued; Open‑source tools exposure a plus.
• Able to convey complex technical concepts to non‑specialists; strong written/spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Own vertical solution assets end‑to‑end: design and develop workflows, benchmarks, templates for automotive and electronics durability.
• Accelerate the full simulation pipeline: map cycle to platform, define accuracy/speed, validate against benchmarks, deliver production‑grade workflows.
• Write Python automation and tooling: data preprocessing, packaging, and workflow integration; maintain reproducibility standards.
• Drive the product roadmap from the field: coordinate with Product and Engineering to surface platform requirements and real‑world use cases.
