Jobgether SRL in partnership seeks a Software Engineer/C Developer to design, build, and maintain a distributed PostgreSQL-based product for the EMEA region. The role is remote, with multi-master replication and high availability at its core, spanning architecture, development, testing, and production support.

You will work on large, long-lived codebases with an internationally distributed team, contribute to code reviews, backporting, CI/CD, and documentation, and bring strong C skills and

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in C programming and production-quality systems software.
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL internals and distributed DB concepts.
• Experience with multi-branch/backport workflows and modern CI/CD.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and performance analysis skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and document capabilities for a multi-master PostgreSQL product.
• Contribute to architecture decisions for distributed DB functionality.
• Maintain and optimize existing features for performance and reliability.
• Translate requirements into executable engineering tasks.
• Provide production support and debug complex database issues for enterprise customers.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering standards.
• Collaborate with globally distributed engineers and stakeholders.
