Job summary

ProfilHQ is seeking a senior Business Analyst to analyse and translate complex financial market requirements for trading platforms and market infrastructure. You will define functional specifications, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and ensure detailed, actionable requirements across the trading lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in financial services, with focus on requirements engineering or business analysis.
• 4-6 years of experience with exchange-traded financial products, with strong expertise in Fixed Income, Structured Products.
• Excellent understanding of trading platforms and matching engines.
• Strong knowledge of order handling, order management, and trade execution workflows.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments and working with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

• Evaluate the impact of new requirements and changes across interconnected systems, processes and interfaces
• Work with product management, stakeholders, solution architects, developers and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Support backlog refinement, feature definition, implementation planning and delivery within an Agile environment
• Ensure requirements are detailed, consistent and actionable for development and testing
• Contribute to analysis of trading, market data, reference data and regulatory considerations

• Contribute to the analysis of topics related to trading, market data, reference data and regulatory requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in financial services , ideally with a significant focus on requirements engineering or business analysis
• 4-6 years of experience with exchange-traded financial products , with strong expertise in:
• Fixed Income
• Structured Products
• Experience with Equities and ETFs is an advantage
• Excellent understanding of trading platforms and matching engines
• Strong knowledge of order handling and order management, trade execution workflows, market models, trading lifecycle processes
• Proven ability to analyse and specify complex trading functionality across multiple systems
• Experience assessing business, operational and technical dependencies and impacts
• Strong track record in creating business requirements, functional specifications, interface specifications and implementation-ready documentation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a high level of attention to detail
• Understanding of market data, reference data and relevant regulatory considerations
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Fluent written and spoken English

Contract: Personal Lease / Contractor
