PwC Switzerland - Legal is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst in Zürich to support regulatory transformation and implementation initiatives for a leading financial institution. You will convert complex regulatory requirements into actionable business and IT specifications.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, 8+ years in financial services and a solid understanding of MiFIR/MiFID II, EMIR, FMIA, SFTR.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of relevant experience in financial services business analysis.
• Experience in regulatory transformation within banks or asset managers.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and translating them into IT requirements.
• Proven interface experience between Business, Regulation/Compliance and IT.
• Knowledge of MiFIR/MiFID II, EMIR, FMIA, SFTR is an advantage.
• Experience in trading, derivatives or transaction reporting is advantageous.

For a project with a leading financial institution in Switzerland, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support regulatory transformation and implementation initiatives.

We are particularly looking for candidates who are able to quickly understand complex regulatory requirements, translate them into concrete business and technology requirements, and drive their implementation together with Business and IT stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyse and structure regulatory and business requirements
• Translate regulatory requirements into clear business and functional requirements
• Perform gap analyses between regulatory requirements, existing processes and systems
• Develop pragmatic solutions together with Business, Compliance, Operations and IT stakeholders
• Prepare business requirements, user stories and IT specifications
• Prepare and facilitate workshops with different stakeholder groups
• Analyse and optimise existing front-to-back processes
• Support system, integration and user acceptance testing
• Support implementation activities from initial requirements analysis through to successful delivery

Your Profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience, ideally as a Business Analyst, Regulatory Business Analyst, Business Consultant or Project Manager within Financial Services
• Strong experience in regulatory transformation or implementation projects within banks, asset managers or other financial institutions
• Good understanding of financial services processes and their translation into IT and system requirements
• Proven experience working at the interface between Business, Regulation/Compliance and IT
• Knowledge of financial markets regulation such as MiFIR/MiFID II, EMIR, FMIA, SFTR or comparable regulatory frameworks is an advantage
• Experience with trading, securities, derivatives or transaction reporting processes is an advantage, but not mandatory
• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
• Structured, independent and pragmatic working style
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Very good command of English; German is an advantage
• Start: ASAP this year or upon agreement
• Employment type: 9–12 months, with the possibility of extension and potentially a permanent position
• Experience: Relevant experience in FMI / EMIR / MiFIR / FMIA / SFTR is required
