Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building enterprise applications with Java and Spring.

• Strong collaboration and clear communication in Italian and English across teams.
• Experience designing scalable, resilient backend systems and data flow integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and operate backend services that support payments, invoicing, ledger flows, and financial data consistency.
• Shape the technical direction within your domain, balancing reliability, maintainability, and delivery speed.
• Decompose the monolithic financial platform into domain-oriented services.
• Improve system quality with simpler architecture, better observability, APIs, testing, and lower operational complexity.
• Use production data to identify risks and drive improvements with the team.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions.
