Job summary

Lever, Inc. partners with a Swiss-based enterprise SaaS provider to rebuild AI-driven cloud workloads on Microsoft Azure. The Azure Cloud Engineer will own operational reliability, security, and performance across production environments and CI/CD pipelines.

In a remote culture, you will automate infrastructure with Terraform, manage Terraform state, and implement monitoring and cost governance. You will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure scalable, compliant, and highly available

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience operating production-grade Azure workloads.
• Deep Terraform & GitHub Actions proficiency for CI/CD and IaC.
• Experience with containerized apps and Azure data services.
• Strong observability with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Security, disaster recovery, and compliance awareness (SOC 2, ISO 27001).

Responsibilities

• Administer Azure cloud infrastructure across dev, QA, staging, production.
• Develop modular IaC with Terraform and manage state and drift.
• Build and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows with release gates and secrets.
• Monitor Azure AI services, including Foundry and Speech-to-Text workloads.
• Implement dashboards, SLIs/SLOs, and incident response procedures.
• Support security compliance and disaster recovery planning.
