Job summary

Jet Aviation in Basel, Switzerland seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to shape a proactive quality and safety culture, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and driving continuous improvement across the organization. You will work with operations, management, customers, OEMs and authorities to translate requirements into practical solutions.

You will lead audits, investigations (MEDA), certifying staff assessments, and the development of robust quality processes while partnering with FOCA,

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering with aviation focus or ICAO maintenance background.
• Experience with Part 145 certifying staff assessments and aviation quality programs.
• Strong knowledge of EASA Part 145/Part M/Part 21G/Part 21J and ISO 9000/EN 9100/EN 9110 requirements.
• Fluent English with excellent report writing and procedure development skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct audits, coordinate resources, close corrective actions.
• Lead or support MEDA and occurrence investigations; identify root causes.
• Conduct Part 145 certifying staff assessments and foster proactive quality culture.
• Promote quality, safety and human factors across the organization.
• Review audit data, identify trends, report insights to Management.
• Monitor regulatory changes and support implementation of solutions.
• Collaborate with FOCA, FAA, customers and OEMs on approvals and audits.
• Ensure cooperation between Part 21J/G and Part 145 stakeholders.
• Develop and improve Quality/SMS/MOE/POE procedures and documentation.
• Oversee documentation system changes and communications.
• Coach operational staff on procedures, regulations and training.
