Job summary

Julius Baer is seeking a self-motivated Automation Quality Assurance Tester to join our team. You will develop and enhance test automation for UI, API and Mobile, and build CI/CD pipelines in a collaborative, Agile setting within banking software.

You will review user stories, define test strategies, execute tests, log defects, and provide timely feedback to squads while ensuring compliance and production readiness across interconnected systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automation QA Tester in financial services preferred.
• Strong Java skills across unit to end-to-end testing.
• Experience with UI, API, and mobile test automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to analyze user stories, define test strategies, and document results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance test automation frameworks and scripts (UI, API, Mobile).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and collaborate to improve tools and practices.
• Define test strategies and coverage with squads; execute tests and log results.
• Provide feedback to squads and ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Support production deployment activities and post-release validation.
• Ensure regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements are met in testing.
