Job summary

Aequor Consulting GmbH is seeking an Analytical Expert for Medical Device R&D in Basel. The role focuses on analytical testing, method development and regulatory support across internal and external labs. Strong coordination with project teams and external partners is essential.

The position requires deep knowledge of ISO standards, Ph. Eur. and USP, plus proficiency in statistical analysis with Minitab and English communication at a professional level.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of ISO standards, Ph. Eur. and USP and their practical application.
• Experience in analytical method development and method transfers to internal/external labs.
• Strong data analysis skills using statistical software (Minitab).
• Excellent coordination and communication with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Fluent English (verbal and written) and ability to work across European hours.

Responsibilities

• Act as single point of contact for analytical activities in medical device testing across projects.
• Oversee and lead analytical activities, ensuring alignment with objectives and customer requirements.
• Develop project-specific analytical methods and transfer them to labs.
• Select suitable testing laboratories based on resources and strategy.
• Lead outsourced analytical work at external labs and manage partnerships.
• Coordinate activities with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to regulatory documentation and project registration.
• Support regulatory inspections and present analytical work.
• Perform and oversee statistical analysis to support project decisions.
