Senior Analytical Chemist

The Role

You drive and strengthen the laboratory’s scientific capabilities by leading complex analytical developments, supporting critical investigations, and enabling data‑driven decision‑making across multiple stakeholders (R&D, production, quality, and clients).

You act as a trusted scientific expert, taking ownership of analytical decisions and contributing to the resolution of high‑impact technical challenges.

In this position, you bring expertise, autonomy, and leadership in addressing complex analytical problems, while ensuring the robustness, continuous improvement, and long‑term sustainability of laboratory activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as scientific referent for critical analytical activities

• Investigate chemical mechanisms (reactions, degradation, interactions)
• Identify and overcome analytical limitations through alternative approaches

Profile

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry with minimum 5 years of relevant industrial experience, or equivalent combination of experience and expertise
• Proven experience in leading complex analytical projects
• Strong expertise in method development and validation
• Advanced knowledge of analytical techniques
• Experience working in an ISO 17025 environment is considered an advantage
• Strong analytical thinking, autonomy, and scientific leadership
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
