Job summary

FrontiersOS empowers AI-enabled agents across Frontiers' publishing platform, data warehouse, and CRM. We seek a senior engineer with deep backend and infrastructure skills and solid AI fluency to build and run FrontiersOS end to end.

You’ll operate across the full stack in a small team, not a narrow slice, applying mature judgment. The role demands 10+ years of experience, strong system design, and an ability to work across teams with a pragmatic, self-service mindset.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong backend and infrastructure fundamentals.
• Experience with AI coding agents and evaluating AI outputs.
• Ability to reason about cross-cutting platform impacts across agents, workflows and permissions.

Responsibilities

• Own major areas of FrontiersOS end to end, architecture and roadmap.
• Architect for reliability and scale, with defined SLOs and observability.
• Build security and governance from day one, including permissions and audit trails.
• Lead code and design reviews, and set patterns for teams to follow.
• Enable self-service for business users to create agents and automations.
• Integrate AI-assisted development as a default workflow with careful review when needed.
• Take full accountability for shipped work, including agent-generated code.
• Be the senior engineer inside the team and share knowledge with teammates.
