Experis Schweiz in Basel is seeking an experienced AI Platform System Engineer to join our forward-thinking infrastructure team. You will build, operate, and evolve enterprise-grade AI platforms and infrastructure services, focusing on scalable GPU-enabled workloads in a hybrid environment.

You will design and run AI infrastructure using Kubernetes and OpenShift, manage HPC resources, troubleshoot complex incidents, and collaborate with data science and engineering teams to support production

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years IT systems administration experience, incl. 3+ years Linux (Red Hat preferred).
• Strong automation and scripting with Shell, Python, and Ansible.
• Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift for AI platforms.
• Familiarity with Prometheus/Grafana and DCGM Exporter.
• Understanding of ITIL-based processes and on-call rotation.

Aufgaben

• Design and enhance scalable AI infrastructure services with GPU workloads.
• Operate AI platforms using Kubernetes and OpenShift for model deployment.
• Manage HPC environments including bare-metal and GPU virtualization.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents across hardware, OS, and platform services.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams for AI workloads.
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure platform availability.
