Zusammenfassung

Finders SA seeks an experienced AI Platform System Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable AI infrastructure. You will focus on GPU workloads, AI platforms and high-performance computing environments, collaborating with cross‑functional teams in an international setting.

The role requires deep Linux expertise, scripting/automation, and hands‑on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift, Prometheus/Grafana, and GPU technologies. Fluent English is essential, German is advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• EU passport or Swiss visa required.
• University degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5 years IT system administration experience, including 3+ years Linux (ideally RHEL).
• Strong scripting with Shell and Python; Ansible experience.
• Deep GPU architecture knowledge (NVLink, PCIe).
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, ArgoCD.
• Hands-on Prometheus, Grafana, DCGM Exporter.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent English; German a plus.

Aufgaben

• Design and evolve scalable AI infrastructure services optimized for GPU workloads.
• Implement and manage AI platforms including Kubernetes and OpenShift for model inference.
• Operate and maintain HPC clusters with bare-metal and GPU servers.
• Troubleshoot complex infra incidents across hardware/software boundaries.
• Support data science teams with infrastructure provisioning and requirements.
• Participate in on-call rotations and critical infra activities.
