Hellmann Worldwide Logistics in Switzerland seeks an Operations Associate to support logistics operations. You will handle Seafreight shipments from pick-up to delivery, process inquiries, and ensure timely deliveries while coordinating with customers, shipping lines, authorities, branches and partners worldwide.

The Operations Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of logistics operations through meticulous administrative and clerical support. Managing essential office tasks, coordinating logistics activities, and providing comprehensive support to the team. About The Job

• Handling Seafreight Shipments (Export/Import/Crosstrade), from Pick-Up to Delivery
• Processing inquiries
• Communication with customers, shipping companies, authorities, branches, and partners worldwide
• File Maintenance according to internal guidelines
• Preparing and checking transport documents
• Monitoring and ensuring on-time deliveries
• Handling of claims and damages
• Supporting process optimization
• Promoting operational excellence and best-in-class services

About You

• Completed vocational training in the field of Freight Forwarding and Logistics
• Outgoing, communicative Freight Forwarding personality
• Work experience in the field of Seafreight
• Curious to learn new things
• Customer-oriented thinking and actions
• Strong sense of quality
• Good command of English, both spoken and written; any additional language is a plus
• Confident handling of MS Office products (e.g. Excel)
• Experience with CargoWise is an advantage
• Team player with strong communication skills
