Moffat County School District RE-1 is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant to handle food preparation, cashiering, inventory, and HACCP documentation for the district’s school meal program. The role supports food service operations, trains as needed, and ensures compliance with safety and nutritional standards.

Responsibilities include meal prep, line service, POS transactions, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience supervising children preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Aufgaben

• Professional and efficient meal prep, hold, presentation, and service to all patrons.
• Process transactions using the point of sale system.
• Prepare menus from recipes and handle prep time for next day.
• Set up and break down lines after lunch and clean kitchen.
• Maintain HACCP paperwork and production records.
• Inventory milk and place milk orders twice a week.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely.
• Attend trainings and tests as required.
• Assist with driving district van if occasionally required.
