The role requires an accredited nursing degree, TX RN license, BLS, and CPR Instructor credentials, with at least two years of school nursing experience.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program.
• Valid registered nurse license to practice professional nursing in Texas from the State Board of Nurse Examiners
• Certified by the Texas Department of Health to conduct vision and hearing screening
• Current BLS Certification
• AHA CPR Instructor

Aufgaben

• Assist Health Service Coordinator in leading daily operations of Health Services staff.
• Maintain communicable disease prevention and control measures per regulations and district policy.
• Lead development and evaluation of Health Services goals and objectives.
• Provide opportunities for staff nurses to stay current in school nursing practice.
• Oversee AED program and Medical Emergency Response Teams.
