Digital Asset in Zurich is seeking an experienced Scala software engineer to join the SDK team. You will develop APIs and libraries that empower third-party developers to interact with the Canton ledger and Canton Network.

You’ll work across the stack—from database back-end and Pekko Stream to gRPC/HTTP interfaces and Java/TypeScript client libraries—collaborating with teams to ensure performance, security, and scalable systems.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a Scala software engineer.
• Specialization in database development or secure APIs.
• Reactive streams experience is a strong plus.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Master's/PhD in CS or equivalent experience.
• Based in Zurich or Budapest.
• Solid PostgreSQL and relational DB knowledge.
• Familiar with TLS/JWT and API security.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to the SDK’s Scala code base.
• Collaborate with Canton Ledger and product teams on APIs.
• Hardening and testing APIs for performance and security.
• Provide code reviews and help set direction.
• Foster diverse perspectives within the team.
