Zusammenfassung

Jobgether seeks an experienced SAP TM S/4HANA Rollout Consultant for an international, fully remote engagement based in Switzerland. You will lead the rollout of the SAP TM template across multiple countries, align local requirements, and drive fit-to-standard design with stakeholders and technical teams.

You will own functional designs, manage integrations with SD/MM/EWM/FI/CO, support testing and cutover, and contribute to template governance.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of experience in SAP logistics, with substantial hands-on experience in SAP TM on S/4HANA.
• Proven experience delivering at least one SAP TM rollout or global template programme in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of SAP TM integration with SD, MM, EWM, and FI/CO, including common integration challenges.
• Ability to facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and translate requirements into designs and specs.
• Experience supporting the full implementation lifecycle (testing, defect management, cutover, hypercare, transition to support).
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and communication skills; able to work in distributed, multicultural teams.
• Fluent professional English; based in an eligible European country and able to work across international teams.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP TM S/4HANA Rollout Consultant, Global based in Switzerland.

Join a global SAP transformation programme supporting the rollout of SAP Transportation Management (TM) on S/4HANA across multiple countries and manufacturing sites. You will take ownership of the TM solution for assigned rollout waves, ensuring that local transportation requirements align with the global template. Working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, you will lead fit-to-standard workshops, shape solution designs, and guide implementations from initial analysis through go-live. You will play a key role in integrating transportation processes with the wider SAP logistics and finance landscape. This position offers the opportunity to influence global process standardisation while addressing local operational and regulatory needs. The engagement is fully remote, international in scope, and initially runs for six months, with the potential for extension as part of a long‑term transformation programme.

Accountabilities

• Lead fit-to-standard and fit-gap assessments for each rollout wave, evaluating local transportation practices, carrier requirements, legal obligations, and documentation needs against the global SAP TM template.
• Own functional solution design for SAP TM on S/4HANA, covering freight planning, carrier selection and tendering, freight order execution, charge calculation, and freight settlement.
• Design and validate integrations across the SAP logistics landscape, including Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), and Finance and Controlling (FI/CO).
• Coordinate carrier connectivity and onboarding through EDI and business network solutions, ensuring effective tracking, status messaging, and transportation visibility.
• Develop detailed functional specifications and collaborate with integration specialists, developers, and test leads to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Plan and support integration testing and user acceptance testing, manage defect resolution, and ensure that the solution meets business and operational expectations.
• Coordinate cutover activities, go-live readiness, hypercare, and handover to ongoing support teams for each rollout wave.
• Capture lessons learned from each deployment and contribute improvements to the global template to increase consistency and efficiency across subsequent rollouts.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in SAP logistics, with substantial hands‑on experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM) on S/4HANA.
• Proven experience delivering at least one SAP TM rollout or global template programme within a manufacturing environment, including personal ownership of fit-gap assessments and functional solution design.
• Strong understanding of SAP TM integration with SD, MM, EWM, and FI/CO, including common integration challenges and their resolution.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops with business stakeholders, assess operational requirements, and translate findings into clear solution designs and functional specifications.
• Experience supporting the full implementation lifecycle, including testing, defect management, cutover, hypercare, and transition to support.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in distributed, multicultural programme teams.
• Comfortable working remotely across multiple countries and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders in an international environment.
• Fluent professional English is required. Candidates must be based in an eligible European country and able to work effectively across international teams.

Desirable experience:

• Familiarity with SAP Business Network for Logistics or carrier visibility platforms.
• Experience with both embedded and side‑by‑side SAP TM deployments.
• Background in automotive, industrial, or process manufacturing.
• Knowledge of multimodal, international, or dangerous goods transportation.
• SAP TM certification.
