FFI Advisory GmbH in Basel-Stadt, Basel, is seeking an experienced SAP Finance Analyst to lead end-to-end SAP Finance processes and support FI/CO configurations in a regulated environment.

The role focuses on data governance, SOX/GDPR/GxP compliance, and successful collaboration with Finance and Controlling stakeholders across P2P, O2C and R2R processes. Fluency in English is required; German or French is a plus. Hybrid work arrangement with partial home-office is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, IT, business or related field.
• Several years SAP business analysis experience, ideally FI/CO.
• Experience in data governance and regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR, GxP).
• Knowledge of SAP authorization concepts and SoD.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Pharma or life sciences experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German/French advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Lead requirement sessions and map end-to-end SAP Finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Asset, CO, PA).
• Support SAP Finance configuration, testing and period-end closing and reporting.
• Establish data governance standards and reliable master data.
• Ensure SOX, GDPR and GxP compliance; maintain CSV documentation and audits.
• Coordinate Finance-related projects across P2P, O2C and R2R.
• Review SAP user roles for SoD; guide junior analysts and liaise with stakeholders.

Main tasks:

• Lead business requirements sessions and map end-to-end SAP Finance processes across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Controlling and Profitability Analysis.
• Support SAP Finance configuration, testing and continuous improvement, including period-end closing and financial reporting.
• Establish and maintain data governance standards, ensuring consistent and reliable Finance master data.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR and GxP requirements, maintain CSV documentation and contribute to internal and external audits.
• Coordinate Finance-related projects and integrations across Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash and Record-to-Report.
• Review SAP user roles and access rights to maintain appropriate segregation of duties (SoD).
• Support and guide junior analysts while building strong relationships with Finance and Controlling stakeholders.

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
• Several years of SAP business analysis experience, including functional ownership of SAP modules, preferably SAP FI/CO.
• Experience in data governance, master-data management and regulatory compliance within SOX, GDPR and GxP environments.
• Understanding of SAP authorization concepts, role design and segregation-of-duties requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences or another regulated industry is nice to have.
• Fluent in English; German and/or French are advantageous
