Job summary

Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in Allschwil near Basel seeks a Senior SAP Business Analyst with a Finance (FI/CO) focus to own end-to-end SAP Finance processes, drive data governance, and support audits.

You will lead requirements workshops, configure SAP Finance solutions, manage cross-module integrations, and mentor junior analysts while collaborating with IT, Finance and Controlling. Fluency in English and SAP FI/CO expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
• 5-8 years of SAP business analysis experience with ownership of SAP modules (FI/CO).
• Solid experience with data governance and regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR, GxP).
• Working knowledge of SAP role design and segregation-of-duties principles.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to explain technical matters to diverse audiences.
• Very good written and spoken English.
• SAP FI/CO certification.
• Experience in pharma or regulated industry.
• Exposure to S/4HANA and adjacent modules (MM, SD, Coupa touchpoints).

Responsibilities

• Configure and validate SAP Finance solutions, supporting period-end close and financial reporting.
• Define and enforce data governance and master-data harmonization for Finance data.
• Own SOX / GDPR / GxP compliance and CSV documentation within your solutions; support internal & external audits.
• Manage Finance projects and cross-module integrations (procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, reporting).
• Run user access reviews upholding segregation of duties (SoD).
• Mentor junior analysts and act as trusted advisor to Finance & Controlling.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior SAP Business Analyst with a Finance (FI/CO) specialization to become the system and process owner for our SAP Finance modules.

If you love translating complex financial business needs into robust, compliant SAP solutions - and enjoy being the trusted bridge between IT, Finance and Controlling - this is your role.

What You Bring
