ABB Motion in Baden (Aargau) seeks a Sales Support professional to back the local sales organization through the quotation process for drive technology. You will serve as the central technical contact, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to size products, calculate costs, and prepare quotations with the relevant technical data.

Key responsibilities include technical consulting, end-to-end quotation management, and market/competitor analysis to identify improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical education (automation technician, electronics technician, automation specialist, or similar).
• Several years of professional experience (min. 5 years) in sales support, sales, or project environments.
• Very good German skills and good English skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Analytical mindset and understanding of markets and processes.
• Initiative, structured way of working, and assertiveness.
• Advantageous: French language skills and further education at HF level (e.g., certified technician HF).

This position reports to:

Sales Support Manager

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will support ABB Switzerland’s local sales organization as well as our customers throughout the entire quotation process in the field of drive technology. You will act as the central technical point of contact within your area of responsibility and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis.

Your responsibilities include optimally sizing products for customers to best meet their requirements and applicable standards. In addition, you will calculate costs and prepare quotations with the relevant technical information. You will apply your technical expertise in a targeted manner and make a significant contribution to the successful preparation of proposals.

Work model: Hybrid

This position supports the local sales unit (Motion) in Baden, Canton Aargau.
