ABB Motion, a global leader in motors and drives, is seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to manage goods receipts, storage, and dispatch in our Swiss production and warehouse network. This on-site role supports our motion division operations in Baden and Untersiggenthal.

The ideal candidate holds a Logistics Specialist EFZ or equivalent and a SUVA forklift license, with strong ERP/IT and SAP experience.

Qualifikationen

• Qualification as a Logistics Specialist (EFZ or equivalent) with several years of experience in logistics or a production environment.
• SUVA-recognized forklift license for counterbalance and pedestrian-operated forklifts.
• Proficient in ERP/IT systems (e.g., SAP) and logistics software.

This position reports to:

Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct all activities related to the handling of parts and semi-finished or final products to/from the production line or in the warehouse. Each day, you will be responsible for handling and moving material for production as per guidelines. You will also showcase your expertise by performing warehouse and logistics activities in close collaboration with our internal production teams.

The work model for the role is: Onsite; Baden and Untersiggenthal

This role is contributing to the Motion – Traction division in Switzerland.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Goods receipts handling from our internal shuttle trucks and external deliveries.
• Sorting, arranging, and storing materials as per guidelines, and picking components for dispatch and final packing on pallets.
• Executing logistics activities according to established procedures, adapting quickly to new processes as they evolve.
• Handling goods with various handling equipment, such as forklift or indoor cranes (up to 16 to)

You will join a dedicated, service-oriented team at our Untersiggenthal and Baden site. We work in a fast-paced production environment where collaboration with manufacturing teams is key, and where every team member plays an important role in keeping operations running smoothly, while serving various internal customer and stakeholder needs.

Qualifications For The Role

• You hold a qualification as a Logistics Specialist (EFZ or equivalent qualification), have several years of professional experience in logistics or a production-related environment, and possess a SUVA-recognized forklift licence for counterbalance and pedestrian-operated forklifts.
• You enjoy working with warehouse and logistics processes in an industrial/manufacturing environment and are quick to absorb and adapt to new workflows.
• You have a demonstrated track record of reliable, independent working practices and can manage your own workload in a structured environment.
• You are highly adept in ERP/IT systems (e.g. SAP) and general computer tools – experience with logistics software is a clear advantage.
• You are passionate about service orientation and customer focus, with a proven ability to prioritize and respond to the needs of internal production stakeholders.
• You are at ease communicating in German (fluent). Every additional language is an asset.
• Knowledge in Dangerous Good (ADR/IMDG/IATA) is highly recommended
