Deutsche Bank is offering an internship in the Private Banking department in Geneva, joining the Service Executive Team. You will work with Relationship Managers and CSEs to deliver excellent client service and rotate across groups to learn Mandates management, transaction handling, and credit limit creation within global tools.

During your internship, you will receive guidance and training in all technical aspects of our business and work alongside Service Executive Team and get contact with many colleagues from other functions. In our challenging and fast-paced environment, you will learn to understand Relationship Managers and Client Service Executives needs to best support them, communicate effectively with them while keeping a client-oriented mindset at all times to deliver the best possible solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work hand-in-hand with Relationship Managers and CSE to provide advice and support them in their internal activities to deliver excellent client service.
  • You will need to understand internal support functions’ (Middle Office, Lending, Pricing teams, CLM, etc.) needs in terms of internal policies and regulatory requirements and serving as internal point of contact between Coverage Teams and support functions.
  • As part of your development plan, rotate among the different groups of expertise (see details below) to develop a strong knowledge of the Bank’s processes:
    • Mandates management.
    • Transaction management, Ad-hoc client inquiries.
    • Creation of credit Limits through the global tool.
    • Account closure management.
Must-have skills and competencies
  • Fluent (written and oral) in English and French.
  • Meticulous, methodical, and concise, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong team player, also able to multi-task.
  • Client-oriented.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgement to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
Nice-to-have skills and competencies
  • Other languages are a plus (e.g: Portuguese, German, Spanish, Italian).
  • Basic Knowledge on payment processing.
  • Avaloq system basic knowledge.
