Maus Robotics — Basel-based robotics startup — offers a 6-month internship to industrialize our robots and scale production. You will refine robotic modules with the RnD team, source parts, and design simple assembly processes.

Work directly with the founder and CEO in a hands-on environment that rewards initiative. The role expects a Bachelor's or Master's in a technical field, hands-on hardware experience, and coding ability; Python, ROS 2, and CAD/Fusion expertise are a bonus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's in mechanical, electrical engineering, robotics, or related field.
• Experience working in industry building hardware and manufacturing.
• Built hardware and taken initiative beyond coursework.
• Comfortable with hands-on hardware work and writing code.
• Bonus if you have experience with Python, ROS 2, CAD (Fusion), or 3D printing.

What We Do

We build robotic machines that autonomously prepare fresh food. Our first robot prepares crêpes from raw ingredients in 90 seconds. Available anytime, anywhere.

The Role

• 6 months internship


• Industrilize the robot. From building a few prototypes to manufacturing 10s to hundreds of robots


• Refine the robotic modules together with the RnD team to prepare them for scaling production. Every robot should be easier to build than the one before it.


• Negotiate with suppliers, source custom machined parts and farm 3D prints.


• Design the assembly process such that it becomes as simple as ikea.


• Build testbenches and checks to ensure every robot is just perfect.


• Move fast: think through technical details while keeping high-level requirements in focus.


• Work directly with the founder and CEO.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's in mechanical, electrical engineering, robotics, or a related technical/scientific field.


• Experience woking in industry building hardware and manufacturing.


• You've built hardware and taken initiative beyond coursework.


• Comfortable with hands-on hardware work and writing code.


• Bonus if you have experience with any of: Python, ROS 2, CAD design (Fusion), 3D printing.
