RIVR, part of Amazon, is seeking a Robotics Field Engineer to bridge advanced robotics with real-world deployment. You will be the Tier 2 escalation point for field operations, performing RCA and debugging hardware/software in live environments to keep robots running reliably.

You will feed real-world insights to QA and Product teams, help optimize deployments, and author guides and SOPs for field technicians. This role requires hands-on hardware experience and travel up to 50% in Switzerland.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science or related field.
• Proven debugging and scripting skills in C++ and/or Python.
• Experience with ROS2 and robotics frameworks is required.

Aufgaben

• Serve as Tier 2 escalation point for field operations with Amazon last-mile teams.
• Perform RCA on field failures and diagnose hardware, software, or environmental causes.
• Debug and apply quick fixes to maintain robot-to-engineer ratio of 1:5.
• Contribute real-world input to QA and product roadmap through field insights.
• Document technical issues, provide troubleshooting guides, and SOPs for field techs.
