Job summary

RIVR, an Amazon company, is building Physical AI by deploying autonomous robots for real-world doorstep delivery. We are seeking a mid-level DevOps Engineer to ensure reliable development and deployment of robotics software, focusing on infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability.

You will work with Docker and Kubernetes, help automate workflows, and implement secure, reproducible build processes while collaborating with software and robotics teams.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with C++ build tools (i.e., CMake).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for robotics software deployment and observability pipelines.
• Collaborate with software and robotics engineers to automate infrastructure and streamline workflows.
• Implement best practices for code security, versioning and reproducibility.
• Manage and maintain development environments, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Contribute to documentation and guidelines across the team.
