Flexion in Zürich is seeking a Research Scientist/Engineer to advance generalizable robotic manipulation using video demonstrations and wearable data. You will own end-to-end development from data capture to model deployment in real-world robotic systems.

The role covers building scalable datasets, designing capture devices, and advancing foundation models for dexterous manipulation across simulated and real robots. Zurich office-based with cutting-edge facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with vision, vision-language, video and multimodal models.
• Experience with reinforcement and imitation learning.
• Experience designing capture and data-to-model workflows.

Responsabilités

• Develop scalable data integration from human video demonstrations and wearables into foundation models and RL workflows.
• Build 3D object and interaction reconstruction pipelines from capture data and integrate into simulation.
• Create simulation-to-real environments and train dexterous manipulation policies.
• Design and evaluate multimodal policy architectures translating sensor data to control.
• Bridge human embodiment to high-DOF robotic hands and humanoid platforms.
