Zusammenfassung

TSMG is seeking Autonomous Vehicle Safety Operators to support testing, validation, and commercial deployment of robotaxi fleets across Europe. You will monitor self-driving vehicles, ensure safety, and intervene when needed while working with engineering and depot teams.

No prior autonomous vehicle experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided. This role offers exposure to Europe-wide deployments, 24/7 operations, and ongoing safety improvements within a leading AV program.

Qualifikationen

• Valid European driver’s license.
• Minimum 5 years of driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to pass background verification (BGV).
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screening.
• Excellent situational awareness and defensive driving skills.
• Comfortable driving for extended periods in urban and highway environments.
• Ability to follow detailed operational procedures with high attention to detail.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English.

Aufgaben

• Safely operate and monitor autonomous vehicles during testing, validation, and commercial robotaxi fleet operations.
• Continuously supervise the performance of the self-driving system with full traffic awareness.
• Take immediate manual control of the vehicle when required by procedures or safety rules.
• Complete assigned routes while complying with local traffic regulations and company procedures.
• Support deployment of autonomous ride-hailing services with safe vehicle operation.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure deployment readiness.
• Verify vehicle cleanliness and inspect cameras, sensors, mirrors, lighting, and critical systems.
• Report damage, abnormal vehicle behavior, or maintenance concerns to depot/technical teams.
• Record disengagements, observations, and events using reporting tools.
• Provide feedback on vehicle behavior, traffic conditions, and unusual scenarios.
• Assist engineering by documenting situations that improve autonomous driving systems.
• Maintain accurate operational records and complete documentation.
• Follow operational procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training, certification, and safety refreshers.
• Maintain professionalism with the public during testing and robotaxi operations.
• Support continuous improvement for safety and efficiency of fleet operations.
