J. Safra Sarasin Investmentfonds AG is seeking a Risk Officer Management Company in Basel. You will manage the ManCo risk framework, I.C.S., operational risk and provide independent second line oversight across the ManCo’s activities.

You will contribute to process automation, data quality, reporting and KPI oversight, working with finance, risk and IT teams. Strong Python, data-management and regulatory knowledge are required, with English fluency and German a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Higher education in Finance, Business or a related field.
• 4-7 years of practical experience in risk management, internal control or operational risk within a Swiss or Luxembourg management company, fund administration, audit or asset management.
• Working knowledge of Swiss regulatory environment (FINMA, CISA/CollIA, FinSA/FinIA, AMAS self-regulation). Awareness of UCITS/AIFMD and CSSF requirements is an advantage.
• Experience with Python data analysis (pandas, datetime) and databases (SQLAlchemy, pyodbc).
• Independent, structured, and hands-on with design and automation of controls and reporting.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and develop Internal Control System; ensure second-line controls are performed, evidenced and remediated.
• End-to-end management of operational risk: incident detection, KRI monitoring, and reporting.
• Run annual Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) per Group Risk requirements.
• Produce structured ManCo risk reporting to EC, Risk Committee & Board; monthly KRI reporting to Group Risk Management.
• Maintain Business Continuity Management and Plan with trainings and checks.
• Act as deputy for Fund Risk Oversight and coordinate PRIIP KID activities.
• Identify control and data-management improvements and support units to enhance processes.
