Job summary
Foodsmart, a digital personal nutrition platform, is hiring an experienced claims specialist in a remote-friendly role. You will process health plan claims, research denials, and ensure timely submission and accurate billing across teams.
You will collaborate with finance, product, and engineering on data and claims, support month-end close, and assist patients and health plans with billing questions. This position offers a competitive pay and remote-friendly setup.

- Process and submit claims to health plans accurately and on time.
- Research denied and rejected claims, make corrections, and resubmit them.
- Follow up on claim statuses and resolve payment issues with health plans.
- Help prepare claims and billing reports and assist in month-end close.
- Participate in investigations, one-off cleanups, and special projects.
- Collaborate with finance, product, and engineering teams on data and claims.
- Assist with billing communications and questions for patients and health plans.

Pay range: $50K - $65K
