Job summary

Electrosuisse in Switzerland is looking for a Content & Publishing Manager to coordinate layout tasks, independently design print and non-print products, and enhance digital content usability.

You will manage the NIN online platform, support publishing systems as a power user, and help structure content for repeatable print and digital outputs. A design qualification and proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed training as polygraphic technician EFZ or media/graphic design EFZ or comparable qualification.
• Experience in layout, media production and image editing; proficient with InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator.
• Understanding of digital publication processes and structured content (XML or CMS).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate layout orders from various business areas and ensure efficient order processing with internal and external partners.
• Independently design and produce print and non-print products, publications, and standards with focus on layout, image editing, and illustrations.
• Take on partial project management tasks in the print area and oversee print orders from idea to production.
• Manage the NIN online platform, maintain content, write user guides and onboarding texts.
• Support publishing systems as a power user and contribute to tool/workflow development.
• Structure content for repeated use in print and digital offerings.
• Improve presentation and user guidance of digital knowledge products with domain experts.

Your tasks

• structure content so that it can be used multiple times for print publications and digital offerings.
• improve the presentation and user guidance of our digital knowledge products together with the specialists responsible.

Your profile

• have completed training as a polygraphic technician EFZ, media technician EFZ, graphic designer EFZ or have a comparable qualification. Ideally, you have training or further education in the electrical engineering field.
• have experience in layout, media production and image editing and ideally work confidently with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• enjoy technical content and can visualise complex information clearly and appealingly.
• work independently, in a structured and precise manner and keep an overview even with several projects.
• convince with organisational talent and teamwork skills and like to develop workflows together with others.
• have experience with digital publication processes and structured content, for example with XML or content management systems.
• have a good understanding of user-friendly design of digital content; knowledge in UX/UI and creating simple prototypes is an advantage.
