Job summary

Northstar Medical is seeking a patient-centered Nurse Practitioner to provide care via secure video and phone consultations. The role requires current CNO RN-EC registration, comfort with telehealth, and strong clinical judgment. You will document thoroughly in the EMR and help refine clinician workflows to improve patient outcomes.

The position is fully remote, with opportunities to grow into leadership as the team expands, and use secure video/phone/messaging visits in the patient portal.

Qualifications

• Current CNO registration as Nurse Practitioner – Extended Class (RN-EC), in good standing.
• Comfort with telehealth technology and remote patient interactions.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR/EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Patient care — deliver compassionate, evidence-based care via secure video and phone consultations.
• Clinical documentation — maintain accurate, thorough records in our EMR, meeting standards for virtual care and ensuring continuity across visits.
• Platform engagement — share feedback from daily practice and contribute to tools that work better for clinicians and patients.
