Job summary

LGT Capital Partners Ltd. in Switzerland seeks a Security Engineer to ensure security across on-premises and cloud infrastructure, aligning architecture with security requirements.

You will design, implement and operate security solutions, and collaborate with the SOC to enhance detection and incident response. You will work with Microsoft technologies (Entra ID/Azure AD, Defender suites, Microsoft Sentinel) and develop automated security controls, perform vulnerability management, and document

Qualifications

• Proven understanding of modern security principles and Zero Trust concepts.
• Experience with Microsoft security tools and Defender suites.
• Hands-on with security incident response, vulnerability management and automation.
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) for repeatable controls.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and SOC.
• Experience with cloud and on-prem security architectures.

Responsibilities

• Research, design and implement security solutions for on-prem and cloud.
• Integrate security into evaluation, deployment and configuration of tech.
• Define system security requirements per policies and best practices.
• Develop technical solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities and automate processes.
• Operate vulnerability management, coordinate remediation with teams.
• Collaborate with external SOC to enhance detection and runbooks.
• Assist in incident response, penetration tests, audits and red-team exercises.
• Analyze logs to identify trends and potential security incidents.
• Review and update cyber security policies and architectures.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert in CSIRT or Security Team.
• Take ownership of security products like endpoint and identity security.
• Prepare concise technical documentation.
