Job summary

The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) invites applications for a part-time Russian language teacher to support the Language Training Programme. Courses may be conducted remotely or in person, aligned with the CLM curriculum and UN standards.

Responsibilities include lesson delivery, material development, assessment, Moodle administration, feedback, attendance, and collaboration with colleagues to support multilingual staff development in a diverse, international environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years teaching Russian as a foreign/second language to adults.
• 3+ years in curriculum development, language exam design, or teacher training.
• Experience with e-learning tools, Moodle, and online collaboration desirable.
• Multicultural teaching environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scheduled Russian language courses, in person or online.
• Prepare classes and update learning materials according to LTP curriculum.
• Assess and grade student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain Moodle platform and ensure technical functionality.
• Manage attendance and records; collaborate with colleagues and attend meetings.
