Background: The Language Training Programme (LCP) of the Center for Learning and Multilingualism (CLM), Office of the United Nations at Geneva (UNOG), promotes linguistic balance and multilingualism within the Secretariat and improves the language abilities of staff, as mandated by the General Assembly in its resolutions 2480 B (XXIII), 43/224D and 50/11. To do so the LTP offers language courses in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.
