Job summary

United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) Language Training Programme (LTP) seeks part-time English teachers to deliver general and specialized courses to UN staff, remotely or online. The role includes preparing materials, delivering lessons, using Moodle, and providing feedback to learners.

Four years of teaching adults in multicultural settings are required, plus three years in curriculum or exam design. Experience with e-learning tools and Moodle is desirable in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years teaching English to adults in multicultural settings.
• At least three years in curriculum development, language exam design, or teacher training.
• Experience with e-learning tools and Moodle; international environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned English language courses, in-person and online.
• Prepare engaging lesson plans and update learning materials per LTP curriculum.
• Administer and maintain the CLM Moodle platform, set up courses and monitor progress.
• Provide timely feedback and assess/grade assignments, tests, and exams.
• Maintain attendance and grading records in accordance with UN language standards.
