Kitron Group is seeking a Mechanics Sourcing Engineer to drive supplier development and strategic sourcing in an international manufacturing setting. You will optimize costs and support product industrialization with engineering teams.

The role requires strong negotiation, analytical skills and the ability to read technical drawings. Remote work is allowed with business trips, and multilingual collaboration is common.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience sourcing mechanical commodities (sheet metal, machining, stamping, plastics).
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, sheet metal).
• Experience in EMS/industrial sectors is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, communication and supplier management skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Excellent English (written and spoken).
• Team-oriented in multinational environments.

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and support vendor development activities.
• Participate in supplier quality assessments, audits, and performance reviews.
• Assist with RFQ and cost negotiation processes for competitive pricing.
• Perform cost analysis including labor, material, tooling and manufacturing costs.
• Support DFM and product industrialization with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Identify and develop new suppliers and alternative sourcing solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and multinational teams.
