Job summary

LGT Capital Partners AG in Pfäffikon is seeking a Junior Finance Business Analyst & Automation Specialist to transform our finance function into an AI-enabled, data-driven unit. You will redesign processes, build automation and analytics, and collaborate with IT and finance teams in an international asset management environment.

You will develop end-to-end solutions, contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles, and deliver actionable insights for management.

Qualifications

• Degree in business informatics, data science, computer science, economics or finance with a quantitative focus.
• Experience translating technical skills into practical business solutions in asset management or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with data and automation tools (Python, SQL, Power BI) and databases/OLAP cubes.
• Strong interest in AI-enabled working and end-to-end solution development.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools.
• Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles; experience in controlling or reporting tools is a plus.
• Curious, proactive and eager to learn with a structured, analytical approach.
• Excellent communication in English; German is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Drive automation, analytics and AI-based improvements in finance processes end-to-end.
• Design and implement automation and reporting to reduce manual work and improve data quality.
• Analyse finance processes, define requirements, and identify gaps for scalable solutions.
• Partner with IT and business units to build data-driven reporting and faster ad-hoc analyses.
